What’s Changed and What Hasn’t

As some of you have heard me say, “Right now, we’re living in the most dynamic time in the history of communications since the Tower of Babel!” This is truly a season of incredible change—even greater than the Gutenberg press.

The Internet has changed the way people interact and now data measures even more of our behavior. We’re living in a time like no other and this scale of change can be cause for anxiety. So, let me be an encouragement to you! First, as an agency, we are adapting and innovating with these new forms of communication (which are new ways to reach the heart of a donor).

So, yes, communication is changing. But here are a couple things that haven’t changed:

1 – God is in control. You knew I was going to say that, right? But just take a moment and reflect on the amazing ways God is blessing you and your ministry. Take a minute, I can wait.

2 – Another thing that hasn’t changed is the miracles that happen at your Mission each day. The way we partner together to share that Good News may be changing, but the one thing that will not change is how lives are being restored, people are rescued, and families are reunited—all thanks to your service in the name of our Lord.

So take a deep breath. The busyness of the holiday season will be here before we know it. Together, let’s trust and be ready together for what God has in store.
